There Comes a Time

 There comes a time when the grass in the meadow becomes long, too long, and it flows like a river in the summer wind. That is when I want to travel the meadow floor the most, with the wind catching my hair in wild tangles, and flowing through the grass impulsively. The soft touch of the breeze lingering on my face. It's like being in another time and place, where you can forget everything else, and just live in that luxurious moment. Barefoot and without plaits is best. 

And forget not 

that the earth delights 

to feel your bare feet 

and the winds long to 

play with your hair
