The woods prepare for winter.
What do the trees think of the coming hibernation?
Whatever their thoughts, they are only whispered to each other.
Leaving the rest to wonder, but never know the story.

A Church in the Woods
Love this little church in the woods. I wrote a poem about it called, "The Prayer."
The Prayer
The narrow door opens wide
Just room enough for one
Just room enough for one
To step inside the damp stone walls
And say a prayer to God
The air falls quiet all is still
No bird is heard, no sound at all
Beneath the hushed and silent trees
This sacred place begs bended knee
Stirring from the quiet place
Stepping out to all I see
The feeling of the prayer goes on
In stones and earth and tree

A Path I'd Love To Take
I'm considering buying this piece of art to add to my walls. Pretty patina and a path I'd love to take. You could just step right up into that frame and start walking. I love to scour the internet for vintage art because they are one-of-a-kind snapshots from time. You can just imagine the artist all set up and painting outside as they try to capture the beauty and do it justice. Hoping that it comes out all right.

Magical
"Ophelia" by John Williams Waterhouse hangs in my living room as the centerpiece of everything else. The rug and decor are based upon it, that's how important it is. When you find the painting you love that captures the world you love, it is magical.
